{DIY} Valentine's Day Paper Garland

I found this cute scrapbooking paper at Target in the dollar section, how could I not get it?!  I think I'm just in the mood for garlands lately...(Superbowl Sunday Garland here)

Materials:
Paper in different colors
(I found a 10-sheet pack of Valentine's Day paper at target for $1!)
Circle Puncher
Scissors
Sewing Machine

You can find a circle hole punch at Michael's or Joann's or any craft store that carry's scrapbooking supplies.  Punching the circles doesn't take too long, I find it helps to cut the paper into strips before you start punching.

I made a little over 150 circles for the garland.  About 7 circles makes around a foot in length, so about 150 circles would give you around 20 feet of garland.
I like to keep the circles separated by at least a quarter of an inch, and I didn't use any pattern.  I like the sort of chaotic, messy, and unique look.  After about 15 or 20 circles, I added a heart.
I made some of the garland short so I could hang it from the ceiling.  These were about 7-9 circles long, which gives you a little more than a foot of length.
Super cute right?  Even though I don't necessarily have a Valentine, I'll take any excuse to decorate.
Are you decorating for Valentine's Day?
