This is my super duper favorite dress, which I have never worn out. Lol...You know what's sad is I'm totally serious. When I found this dress at Target last year, (I know, Target right?) I had to get it because I barely had any dresses and I actually found myself really drawn to it. I really loved. I guess I just love it so much I didn't want to ruin it, so every time I took it out to wear it, I told myself no, not yet. Which is dumb because it's a dress and needs to be worn. No use sitting in a closet forever, and since I am taking a break from purchasing clothes...sigh...I took this out of my closet and decided to wear it for the first time. Yay!

The only thing getting me through this indefinite break from buying clothes is making sure to wear every single thing I own. Ladies, I know I'm not the only one who has pieces that have only been worn once, if at all. I am taking an oath to wear absolutely everything hidden inside my closet and dresser, more than once. This is kind of funny, because I am slowly realizing how many clothes I actually own. Kind of scary. I'm also realizing that we ladies need to wear dresses more often. There's nothing like wearing a dress and feeling like a princess :)

I can never wait to wear something after I buy it, but I know what you mean about "I love it so much, I don't want to wear it and ruin it!" I have that instinct too. I think, if I have a few pieces of clothing that I've never worn, they were probably given to me for free and I just decided to keep them in case they came in handy someday. I only buy clothes if I really, really love them, so that gives me enough incentive to wear the clothes I buy.
You certainly do need to wear dresses more because they look beautiful on you.
True story, wear more dresses is actually one of my new year resolutions. Thanks for the re-inspiring me :)
